Loop is a material experiment with cork. the aim was to provide a sustainable solution to upholstered padded seating. We found that when 2 bits of cork were glued together and sanded back, there’s little to no join line. Which allowed us to conceal the angled leg brackets inside the cork top, creating a minimalist design aesthetic.
